Established in 1967 as part of Canada’s Centennial celebrations, Toronto’s Caribbean Carnival has evolved into North America’s largest cultural celebration. With over 1 million participants annually, the event showcases the best of Canadian Caribbean arts and culture.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
JOE HALSTEAD, CHAIR
Current Chair of FMC Board; Retired Commissioner, City of Toronto; Former Asst. Deputy Minister, Government of Ontario; Former Chair of the Board, Ontario Place; Corp., Former Board Chair, Cleanfield Energy Corp; Former Board member, Metrolinx Corp; Vice Chair of Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games.
Angela Pierre
A former Executive Assistant with over 35 years of expertise in human resources, information technology, organizational development, web design, event planning, and customer service. Angela is currently a board member of some not for profit organizations.
Keith Forde
Retired Deputy Chief of Police, completed over 38 years of policing in Toronto Police Service, including 28 of those years in a leadership capacity. He was known as a creative and innovative police professional with extensive expertise in customer service with a strong commitment to employment equity and race relations. He presently sits on a number of not for profit boards.
Earlene Huntley
Earlene is a graduate of the University of the West Indies where she earned her Bsc. Accounting (Hons) and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the United Kingdom. In addition, she completed the CICA In-depth Tax Course (Parts I to III), CPA GST In-depth and the Canadian Risk Manager certification.
Michael G.A. Lashley
A Former Consul General of Trinidad and Tobago and former Dean of the Consular Corps of Ontario. Consultant in Business Development, Culture and Community Development.
